Welcome!

Hi, I'm Lisa! I am originally from Roswell, Georgia, but I am now a Chicago girl. I have spent the past four years in Cleveland Ohio obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and International Studies at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). In Cleveland, I honed my acting skills performing in CWRU's undergraduate productions, like The Moors by Jen Silverman, Cymbeline by William Shakespeare, or The Skin of Our Teeth by Thornton Wilder. I also began my comedy career, performing with CWRU's IMPROVment and doing stand-up comedy around Cleveland and the Atlanta area.

If you are going to be in the Cleveland area this October catch my directorial debut as I am directing CWRU's production of Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson.

I am now in Chicago focusing on comedy and writing. Most recently I opened for Matteo Lane, Sydnee Washington, and Marie Faustin at Severance Hall. You can likely catch me performing at open mics, attending improv shows, or scouting out new food spots in my neighborhood.

I am an aspiring writer with experience in playwriting, screenwriting, and sketch comedy writing. My most recent project has been co-writing an original musical called Mars the Musical, so stay tuned!

Here you will find the filmed production of my contest-winning ten-minute play The Fibbing Fee presented by the Georgia Film Academy, as well as  the short-film Blockbusted, which premiered at the Short and Sweet Film Festival in 2023, that I co-wrote with Maizy Windham.
